New Building Steel Arrives |
|
Long awaited steel for the new dining hall arrives at Higher Ground.
Bulldozer clearing land Last week was a bustle of activity as we prepaired the site for the new
dining hall. The weather finally cleared up enough for us to get some
work done. Roy worked all day with the bulldozer to get ground
leveled out. There were alot of holes where we had removed trees
earlier. We were given a great deal on concrete scrap and we received
90 tons of material that was used to prepair the road and site. 18 wheeler arrives with steel Even
after the gravel was spread out the delivery truck still got stuck
while making the turn in front of the site. With the building unloaded
and all the volunteers from South Highland Baptist Church that came to
help we thought it would be a good opportunity for a photo op. Ground breaking
Continue to pray that God would to open doors for this project.

Paul told Timothy, 'let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example' (I Tim. 4:12) I can think of no greater example of this verse then what I saw from these youth and their leaders this week. Calvary of Camden, Thank you for participating and for sharing Jesus with the children of Searcy County, AR.
