The romantic get-a-ways are a success!
We never understood the great need until we started inviting pastors and spouse to a romantic evening under the stars. There has been a great response to romantic weekend for small membership church pastors and wives.
We invite one pastor to serve as Host and he in turn invites fellow
pastors. Friday night we serve a lovely romantic dinner followed by a
bonfire or lite conversation. Saturday morning the couples wake to a
breakfast basket delivered to their room. A leisurely walk along the
hiking trail followed by a casual lunch and an on-topic discussion.
Most couples leave around 2:00 Saturday and can be back at their homes
in time to prepare for Sunday.
We are proud to be able to provide these types of events for pastors
and wives of small membership churches, so far all of these events have
been provided free of charge to the participants.
